Drill & Blast Supervisor | FIFO

This is an initial 6-month contract position and is an opportunity to continue your career with a respected player in the mining industry.

This role would operate on an 8/6 FIFO days only roster from Perth, paid 13 hours per day at a competitive hourly rate.

About The Role

Senior Supervisor Role

Additional duties will include:

• Oversee, manage and control Drill and Blast project outcomes
• Maintain and improve the Drill and Blast process
• Undertake Drill and Blast related project investigations
• Maintain and enhance contractor relationships
• Liaising with the Drill and Blast team and contractors

About You

As the successful candidate you will possess the following:

• 3+ years' experience in Drill and Blast
• Minimum 12 months experience in similar leadership position
• Exposure to mining contract management
• Drill and Blast planning, design and scheduling experience
• Compliance and statutory requirement auditing
• Proficiency with Microsoft office including Excel and Shot Plus
• Current WA manual drivers' license
• Current Senior first aid certificate
• Preferably digishot competent
• Must have shotfirer license and DGSC
