The Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Drill Fitter to join our Forrestdale workshop team! Reporting to the workshop managers, your role will include (but not limited to):
- Drill rig re-builds & new builds
- Fault finding & commissioning.
- Operating/Tram drill rigs onto a float
- Working in a team & assisting other fitters
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant trade qualifications – Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Fixed Plant, Auto Electrical, Hydraulic or similar
- Pit Viper 271 build experience (essential)
- Manufacture and Mechanical knowledge.
- Experience in a similar position
- Ability to work unsupervised, and within a team.
- Sound knowledge with Hydraulics, Auto-Electrics & CAN
- Experience diagnosing breakdowns.
- Experience with fabrication and welding.

- 9.5hr days, hours 0600-1600 Monday-Thursday
