The Role
Ventia are currently seeking to engage a number of Driller Offsiders to join our Rig & Wells team. Reporting to the Rig Manager, this role will see you based in the field supporting our Drilling team with various tasks and duties associated within our minerals sector.
These are casual ongoing positions on either 2:1 or 2:2 rosters, with flights / accommodation provided.
The payrate for this role is $427.29 per day (flat rate) with an additional $6.59 per hour (casual loading).

Key duties, but not limited to:
- Assisting Driller & Crew with daily drilling operations
- Working safely in a small team environment and be able to follow instructions
- Sample collection & presentation
- Operation of a truck to support drilling operations
- Operating Telehandler / Backhoe as required as well as power hand tools
Requirements:
- HR Driver's License
- Must be clean shaven to wear dust masks
- High Risk Work License - Highly regarded
- Experience with hot works (welding, grinding etc) - Highly regarded
- Previous labouring experience and high focus on safety
