We are currently seeking applications from experienced and multi-skilled Drillers/Shotfirers for our Mt Webber Project to join us on a 2&1 roster.

You will:
- Inspect blasting areas for conditions affecting the shot
- Co-ordinate equipment and people to deliver the blast to firing time
- Be familiar with a range of non-electric and electric blasting products and bulk products
- Understand the timing for quality results
- Management of the magazine and stocktakes
- Co-ordination of signage, clearance, and notification for the blast
- Oversee the on-the-job training and safe work compliance of the shot crew members
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, engineers and client
- Safe use, transport, and handling of explosives on site
- Operate Epiroc D65 down hole hammer
- Record drill data and ground conditions that may affect blasting
- Maintain a clean and tidy rig
- Report any maintenance faults
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
- Regularly use safety tools such as JHA's and Take 5's.
Experience required:
- More than 2 years of experience as an Appointed Shotfirer
- Minimum of 2 years drilling experience (preferably on a D65)
- Current Unrestricted Shotfirer’s Licence
- Current Dangerous Goods Security Clearance
- Australian HR Class Drivers licence,
