Daimler Trucks Caboolture is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our close-knit service department. Daimler Trucks Caboolture is part of the Velocity Vehicle Group and retails a range of Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks, buses, and vans.
About the opportunity
Daimler Trucks s seeking a trustworthy and enthusiastic driver to join our friendly team. This position involves the timely and safe delivery of vehicles to various locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering vehicles to customers and ensuring the presentation of the vehicle meets standards and is on time
- Driving vehicles between locations (as required)
- Registering vehicles and taking them to licensing locations
- Assisting with the dropping off and picking up of customers (as required)
- Moving trucks and vehicles (as required) to ensure our stock is presented professionally and in line with dealership standards
- Rectifying any hazards identified in work areas
To be successful, you will have the following:
- Ability to work well in a team, and unsupervised
- A Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is essential
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Prior driving/detailing experience is preferred
