Job DescriptionStore PersonOur Client is a leading national provider of equipment and related services for the Health and Aged Care Industry.They are curerntly expanding their services and are looking to bring on new team members for full-time work with the possibility of going permanent.The role involves different duties: Offsiding and Delivery Driving. The offsiding component of the job involves unloading prodcut from the trucks at delivery sites, and helping truck drivers to co-ordinate the pickup and delivery of all goods in accordance with written schedule, following WHS Manual Handling procedures and other protocols. The driving duties of the role are: operating the vehicle in a safe and effective manner in order to minimise the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life and ensure appropriate maintenance/service and cleanliness of vehicles.Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am-3:30pmRates: Offsiding $33
p/h and Driving $34.50
p/h- Loading/Unloading delivery vehicles manually and forklift-assisted
- Receiving Purchase orders and interstate transfers
- Picking, Packing and assembling orders for dispatch
- Assist in assembling equipment
- Stock control
- Warehouse Cleaning and Maintenance of Products at times
To be successful, you will need to have the following:
- Must have a current drivers license and right to work in Australia
- Available to start immediately
- Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial warehouse
- Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Approachable, friendly and professional at all times
- Be highly organised and be able to multi-task
- Have good written and communication skills
- Physically fit with ability to work under pressure
