What you'll be doing
The Drug Health Pharmacist provides high quality and timely pharmacy services to Drug Health consumers at Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD). The role works closely with nursing, medical and senior pharmacists to provide services in relation to opioid substitution and addiction treatment programs, and assists with the provision of consultative services and professional advice for other members of the health care team including general practice and community pharmacies across WSLHD.

Essential Requirements: * Qualification: Tertiary education in Pharmacy
- Registration: General Registration with Pharmacy Board of Australia
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Drug and Alcohol pharmacotherapy treatments and service provision.
- Proven organisation and administrative competence including basic computer literacy and time management skills.
- Experience with the delivery of pharmacy services in relation to maintenance pharmacotherapy for Opioid and Alcohol dependence.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, negotiate, and liaise effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Current NSW Drivers licence.
