An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced fire Service Technician to join our team in our Installation and Service Department.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage & maintain existing contract sites & continued growth through portfolio expansion
- provide the installation, maintenance and repairs to various types of fire equipment as out in AS.1670
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships
- Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Coordinate, compile and submit required paperwork and other procedures
- Attend call-outs as per rostered requirements
- Maintain industry knowledge and monitor market developments, keep up-to-date with the latest changes and advances in fire technology and relevant Australian Standards (AS.1670)
- Commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct, aligned with expectations on ethical behaviour according to company values
- Complying with company and client HSEQ policies and procedures
Skills and experience we require:
- 2+ years' experience in the fire industry
- Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing - (ideal. but not a requirement)
- Current Blue/White Card
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Firemate/Uptick (training provided)
