Dual Registered Midwife / Nurse - International Nurses Accepted

Duel Registered Midwife/Nurse required for short and long-term contracts in Victoria. International nurses are welcome to apply for this vacancy.

Our client will consider candidates on 3-6 month contracts or even permanent/fixed term basis. The rota is 64 hours per fortnight and includes weekends, public holidays, days, nights and on-call shifts.

In order to be considered nurses should meet the following criteria/competencies:

• Current AHPRA registration

• Midwife lead birthing

• Birth room competent

• Able to work on a mixed ward

• FSEP Level 3 – face to face within last 12 months

• Provide antenatal, birth suite, postnatal, special care nursery, general surgical, medical and paediatric care

• Children’s and Maternity ward consisting of sixteen beds, two birth rooms and a three-bed special care nursery
