About the Role:
As a Casual Night Duty Manager, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the day-to-day operations of our late-night trading venue. You will serve as a strong leader, overseeing staff and ensuring the seamless operation of the venue to provide guests with an exceptional experience during late-night hours (4 am to 6 am). The role involves predominantly night shifts, offering a flexible schedule of 20-35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations during assigned shifts, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of the venue.
- Lead and manage staff to maintain a high level of service and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Organise and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Develop and motivate the team through effective leadership, training, and coordination.
- Handle cash transactions, reconcile registers, and prepare daily financial reports.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints efficiently and proactively.
About You:
- 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor or Duty Manger within the hospitality industry.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating amazing experiences.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and basic accounting procedures
- Valid RSA and RCG certificates.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high customer volumes.
- Willingness to go above and beyond for valued guests.
- Flexibility to work mostly night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
