Clarendon Hotel is a 4 Star Boutique Hotel encompassing Accommodation, Bar, Restaurant, and Gaming facilities. The venue is forecast for major renovations and expansion in the new year.
We are currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our growing team. A flexible roster will be available and the position also has room for growth within the group for the right candidate. You will be responsible for overseeing day/night time operations of the hotel including Bar, Restaurant, Gaming and Accommodation. Extensive hospitality and management experience is required for this role, along with highly attentive customer service skills.
In this role, you will be working closely with the General Manager and other Department Managers to ensure smooth operation of the hotel, whilst supplying positive staff guidance and a memorable customer experience for the Hotels patrons.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing & training of bar staff
Following Plan Of Management guidelines and Licensing regulations
Cash reconciliation
Guest relations
Overseeing gaming area
Implementing promotions
Liaising with Department Managers and security
Venue lockup
Required Experience:
Sound knowledge of craft beer, wine & spirits
Staff management
Extensive customer service
Cellar operations
Previous experience in a similar role or in a multi-faceted hotel is highly sought after

This role is initially a casual position with approximately 30-35 hours per week with the potential for a full-time position for the right candidate.
