Community Club Duty Manager

We're looking for an ambitious Manager to join our leadership team and take charge of the day-to-day operations of our relaxed inner-city club.

Working as a part of the Management team, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and mentoring the Reception, Catering, Bar, Cellar, Gaming, and other customer-facing staff to ensure efficient and effective management of the club, with the goal of maximizing revenue and exceeding member expectations.
- Collaborating with and providing professional support to all departments of the club
- Assisting to develop and oversee new systems, technologies, processes, and structures as the club grows to its next level.
- Supporting and training staff in their personal and professional development
- Embodying and driving a positive team culture that strives for continuous improvement.
- Developing and maintaining positive professional relationships with club members and community partners
- Representing and upholding the club's reputation and profile within the community and the club industry
- Sourcing and contributing ideas and suggestions for continual improvements to club facilities and services to ensure competitiveness.
- Ensuring liquor, gaming, licensing, and CCTV compliance as per OLGR requirements
- Ensuring WHS compliance as per the Work Health & Safety Act
To be considered for the position, you will have:
- Experience in a Supervisory or Leadership position within the hospitality, gaming, or customer service industry
- Current RMLV and Approved Manager certification
- Current RSA & RSG certification
- Some understanding of financial reports, key business drivers, and departmental key performance indicators
- Strong hands-on experience across all aspects of club operations
- Proven cash management, reconciliation, and administrative skills
- Strong computer skills and systems competency
- Strong leadership skills with a positive outlook and the ability to mentor and motivate staff
- Proven effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven ability to lead by example and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
