Duty Manager-Outback Queensland
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for this busy venue located in Outback Queensland.
This is a hands-on role and the successful candidate will be handling day to day duties in the bistro, bottleshop and bar. You will have previous hospitality experience at supervisory level and bring your excellent staff management and customer service skills to the role.
Rich in history, flora and fauna, the location offers unique tours, museums and culture to explore on days off.
VENUE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP
Pay Details: (HIGA Level 5 Award FULLTIME)
- $27.83 per hour Monday-Friday
- $30.45 per hour after 7PM M-F
- $34.79 per hour-Saturday
- $41.75 per hour Sunday
- Accommodation $50-$100 per week – dependent on room
- Accommodation own room with shared facilities
Duties:
- General day to day duties in bar and bottle shop including bistro service
- Supervision and training of F&B staff
- General gaming duties-payouts and gaming clearances
- Cash up and balance of tills
- Open and close procedures
- Making drinks, stocking fridges
- Maintaining stock levels
- Other duties as requested
Candidate:
- Must be willing to live and work in a remote area
- Have a current RSA & RSG & CLO
- Have or be willing to obtain a QLD RMLV + QLD Approved Manager
- Have previous hospitality experience at supervisory level
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Will be required to undertake a Fit2Work Clearance
