What is the role?
As Duty Manager your role is to assist the Licensee in the operation of the venue. You will be expected to understand all areas of the venue operation, promote quality customer service, and ensure standards of operations within the venue are enforced.
Your daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service to all customers.
- Managing the ambience of the venue and ensuring a friendly, well-presented, and safe environment for all customers.
- Supervision of all venue staff ensuring all work standards, policies and procedures are followed.
- Determining work requirements and allocating duties to front of house staff.
- Training and coordination of front of house staff.
- Receipt of monies in line with Feros Hotel Group policy.
- Assist in all areas of the venue when required.
- Rostering and wage management as required.
To be successful in this role
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager and/or Supervisor in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent product knowledge across all areas including food, beverage (including cellar operations), TAB and gaming.
- Current RSA, RCG and first aid certificates are essential.
- The ability to lead a team.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
