Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a highly motivated and suitably skilled Statutory Planner to provide planning advice and undertake planning assessments on a wide range of development types across the Council district.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Formal qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or, similar,
- Detailed knowledge of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 and Regulations.
- A strong track record delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in planning assessment in a local or state government role.
- Well-developed communication skills and proactive attitude to build positive relationships and ensure priorities and deadlines are met.
- The ability to think logically and problem solve to create a positive customer experience.
