Ventia has an exciting opportunity to join our busy Hospitality and Catering team at Robertson Barracks, NT. Our Duty Supervisors are responsible for performing hospitality & kitchen duties in the Mess and Bar areas and overseeing a high performing team to ensure service delivery and excellence .Specific requirements of the role will include:
- Meeting and Greeting Defence Personal
- Cash Handling/EFTPOS use
- Washing crockery, cutlery, glassware and other kitchen equipment at the end of each shift.
- Ensure all packaged and/or perishable items (such as bread, milk etc.) are checked for best/ used by dates prior to service.
- Cleaning of the premises and equipment.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service is exercised at all times.
- Assisting with restock, stock rotation, loading and unloading supplies, stores and equipment.
- Assisting with stock take and inventory control for all Kitchen supplies.
- Ensuring the facility's HACCP programme's day-to-day compliance requirements are met.
- Prior Team Leader experience ideal
- Excellent Customer Service
- Knowledge of Hospitality and Catering service delivery is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge or experience working within Defence would be advantageous.
- Driver's License and own transport
- Basic knowledge of computers and ability to use online rostering systems.
