About you
You are a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (FinOps) – Technical Lead, with extensive recent experience with D365 FinOps but equally familiar with the heritage of the previous on-premise versions. The Technical Lead role provides technical leadership to his/her colleagues as well as being hands-on and being responsible for designing, developing, modifying and debugging code for troubleshooting the issues.
Importantly, you will be key in the delivery of complex, enterprise level outcomes for med-large scale public and private sector organisations. You will be someone who projects confidence in their technical abilities and who is comfortable and articulate when engaging with customers directly where you will conduct yourself always in a commercially savvy and professional manner. You will also be comfortable in getting involved in pre-sales activities, which includes providing estimation for customization and Integrations.
What you’ll bring
- Able to show extensive experience with D365 FinOps as well as previous Dynamics versions.
- Ability to recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
- Provide guidance and advice to the team to assist with meeting schedules and resolve technical problems.
- Ability to lead the technical F&O team and guide them through the technical deliverables.
- Build and maintain a strong, constructive working relationship with staff, focussed on achieving business goals and enabling the team to work to their full potential.
- Strong development experience with Microsoft technologies including X++, SSRS reports, AIF and an understanding of AX/D365 Finance architecture.
- Ability to develop a Solution Architecture, based on customer’s requirements.
- Advanced understanding of integration concepts.
- Experience in the range of typical delivery methodologies.
- Experience in upgrading on Premise product (AX 2009, AX 2012) to D365 Finance.
- Have led at least two end to end implementation or upgrade project as a Technical Lead.
- Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to be an active contributor in customer workshops. Experience and comfort in establishing working rapport with business and technical customers.
- Experience gathering technical requirements, solutioning and producing quality technical designs, both within Dynamics 365 and in the wider context of integrated business platforms.
- Ability to manage your time effectively in a self-driven agile environment.
