In your new role as Early Careers Talent Consultant, you will lead the execution & on-going delivery of the Optus Graduate program. create, deliver & embed an improved program model resulting in an uplift in business outcomes & enhanced experiences for our Early Career community including Graduates, Business Leaders & program sponsors. This full-time permanent opportunity based at our start-of-the art Macquarie Park campus, located in Sydney. Your day-in-the-life as an Early Careers Talent Consultant at Optus Accountable for the end-to-end management of the enterprise-wide Graduate Program for Optus including onboarding, induction, rotation management, learning & development, cohort engagement, program effectiveness & post-program placement. Lead in the creation & execution of key Early Career Talent calendar events – eg. Quarterly Business Unit (BU) Showcase, Keep in Touch program, Quarterly Pulse Check & Engagement, Hackathon, monthly L&D forums, Graduation ceremonies & ad hoc events. Establish & manage monthly/ quarterly forums for Gradvocates, HR & BU Rotational leaders – allow for the sharing of industry insights, program data & analytics, check-ins on program management expectations & governance, capability build sessions etc. Influence and manage senior stakeholders to ensure requirements (skills, area of study and behaviours) for early career talent are accurate and future proof (including Hiring Managers, People and Culture, and Talent Acquisition leadership team) . Identify key opportunities to leverage early career talent through cadet, intern and graduate programs of work, ensuring business alignment and engagement with senior stakeholders. Drive the building of Optus employer brand across the external ECT community including DEI partners, student societies, tertiary institutions, driving awareness and recognition, of Optus as a leading ECT employer of choice. Partner with the Employment Brand Manager and Talent Acquisition Team to ensure the Early Careers sourcing, attraction & selection assessment process drives improvement with candidate quality, diversity, hiring manager engagement and satisfaction. Your skills to pay the bills Experience in an Early Careers program delivery role covering sourcing, attraction, selection, onboarding & program management of top early career talent (Tech talent would be viewed favourably). Demonstrable experience within Early Careers, Learning and Capability (instructional design and/ or delivery) and/or Talent Acquisition. Extensive experience in Program Management and/or Project Management methodology; creation & execution of project plans & deliverables. Experience working with a range of stakeholders including tertiary institutions, strategic, senior executives etc. Continuous improvement & innovation mindset – proactively looking at ways to automate & streamline process through introduction of templates, guides, tools etc. Market intelligence, knowledge of global/ local recruitment practices & employment market trends related to Early Career talent. Tertiary qualifications – Human Resources, Organisational Behaviour, Psychology, Business, Management, Commerce.
