We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated cook for our childcare service at Go Kindy Merewether.
This role is required to fulfil a 5 day a week position, between 30 - 37.5 hours. Applicants must either hold current childcare qualifications or have the desire to study!
Your Role:
Our service cook position will require an individual to cook for up to 100 children per day. We offer Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea to our families and all meals are required to be prepared daily. Applicants should feel comfortable preparing meals for children who may suffer from allergies. Seasonal menu’s are created by the in house cook, this menu should reflect guidelines laid out by the NSW Government and Good for Kids, Good for life programs (training will be provided for applicates who feel unsure with the above).
Applicants will also be required to prepare weekly cooking lesson’s for the children!
As well as, providing a safe, secure, nurturing and stimulating environments for all children.

>Working with Children Check Current First Aid and CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain)
>Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Certificates (or willing to obtain)
> A certificate III in childcare (or willing to obtain)
> Safe food Handling (or willing to obtain)
>Food Safety Supervisor certificate
>A passion for working with children.
>A desire to become a part of a strong and passionate team of educators.
>Exceptional communication skills.
> Experience is not a requirement, however preferred.
