We are seeking a permanent Diploma Qualified Director to join our team!

We are a 114 place centre with 4 rooms and an occupancy of over 80 children per day, our environment can be fast paced at times! With 26 staff, 6 trainees and also providing care to more than 295 children from our local community, our days can be busy.
The candidate must have knowledge of the EYLF and National Law and Legislation and the National Quality Standards, and the ability to review and develop a quality improvement plan.
The successful candidate must have impeccable leadership qualities, such as mentoring and guiding educators in best practice and the ability to encourage and support staff where necessary. We are a close team and believe in working together and supporting each other as much as we can.
Our service has a variety of additional need children and we thrive on building a positive and inclusive environment, so experience reviewing and developing a strategic improvement plan and providing staff with information and strategies with inclusive environments and practice strategies is highly desired.
Experience using online cloud based booking and enrolment systems Xplor is preferred, although not essential as training can be provided.
Our service has strengths in positive interactions and relationships with families and we are seeking candidates who have high professional standards, and who also have the ability to build strong and secure relationships with our clients, staff and the children. A positive, enthusiastic and an approachable friendly nature is a must!
The successful candidate must have confidence and experience in managing staff, staffing requirements for Early Childhood services and completing rosters. As well as managing staff performance, professional development and performance improvement plans, and conflict resolution managing staff or family grievances.
The position is for 37.5 hours a week. Shift times can be set if required and we can offer flexibility with start and finish times for work life balance.
The successful candidate must hold a Diploma in Early Education and Care, DCSI clearance, RAN certification and First Aid with Asthma and Anaphylaxis, and also be willing to obtain additional clearances necessary for managing ccs submissions and family accounts.
Knowledge of childcare subsidies, managing family accounts and invoices, debt collection processes, stock take and ordering stock and supplies is highly desired.
Experience or confidence with leadership of a team is essential!!
We are able to offer training for some aspects of the role, although the more experiences you have in the required and desired attributes the more successful you application will be.
We have an administration officer for office functions for 22.5 hours a week to support the Director with all administrative duties.
