Job description

Tilbrook Childcare Centre is a 25 place community based children's centre located in the heart of Goodwood.

We strongly believe children learn through play with the environment being the third teacher. Our play spaces reflect warmth and love and offer open ended materials and provocations where children can explore, discover, learn and grow.

Tilbrook is committed in belonging to a learning community where children all feel a sense of connectedness, feeling comfortable in being who they are and becoming anything, they want to be.

The centre reflects true team spirit, respect and a belief that this is an inclusive Early Childhood journey between children, families and educators as the underlying feel of our centre.

About the role

Are you passionate about Early Childhood education and dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for children to thrive.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director to join our team in 2024.

Your role will also include having the opportunity to work alongside our Pre-Kindy educators 3 days a week, lead, inspire and support the Tilbrook team as well as 1 day working along side the leadership team.

We work closely as a team and are lucky to be in a small centre as it allows us to build strong relationships with each other and the children and families within our care.  We share the day to day roles and work together.

A strong work ethic and hands on team based approach will see you succeed and contribute to the ongoing success and high quality care of the children within the centre.

You will be working with a professional team of dedicated Educators helping implementing our program and providing quality care for our children and families. You will be working with children aged between 6 months and 5 years.

If your passionate about creating a positive impact in Early Childhood education and have the skills to excel in this role, we want to hear from you.
