The Cessnock Multipurpose Children’s Centre is a non-profit, community based and run organisation. We are a registered charity and have been providing Care and Education to Children since 1963.
About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team in Cessnock, New South Wales. As an employee, you will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs that promote children's physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. You will work collaboratively with other educators to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children aged 0-5 years.

Skills:
- A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (Cert 3, Diploma orEarly Childhood Teacher)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Creativity in developing engaging educational programs
- Time management skills to meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and evaluate educational programs that align with the EYLF and NQF standards
- Develop positive relationships with families through open communication about their child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development using an online platform such as Xplor
- Work collaboratively with other educators to ensure consistency across all rooms within the centre
- Maintain a safe learning environment by following health & safety procedures
Qualifications:
- An approved qualification in Early Childhood education (Certificate 3, Diploma orEarly Childhood Teacher), mandatory
- Working with children check, mandatory
- Provide First Aid in an education and Care Setting, mandatory
Working Hours:
Full time and casual positions available. We require availability during weekdays between 6:30am – 6pm.
Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualification. The rate is competitive within the industry.
