Who we are:
Mitchell Early Learning Centre is a well renowned not-for-profit community-based service in Bathurst which was established in 1988 on the picturesque Bathurst Charles Sturt University Campus.
We pride ourselves in providing above required ratio in each classroom to promote educator wellbeing, child safety and to build genuine child and family relationships.
We are currently looking for a qualified Certificate III or Diploma Educator who has a passion for learning, a genuine interest in our field and an ability to work well with our collaborative and friendly team. Your role will require you to support the learning and development of children from 6 weeks to school age.
This position is 8 hours per day, permanent part time, with a 35-minute paid lunch break, ready to commence immediately.
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- A genuine interest and passion for Early Childhood education and care.
- An enthusiasm to act in the best interests of all children.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- An ability to work effectively within a team.
- An eagerness to take initiative.
- Experience as an educator in an early learning service.
This position requires you to:
- Hold a Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, recognised by ACECQA.
- Have great verbal and written communication skills.
- Be strong, confident, and motivated with an ambition to provide education standards of excellence.
- Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, Quality Standards and Regulations.
- Value children as strong, capable, and resilient.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check if over the age of 18 years.
- Respect the rights and dignity of every child and family.
