Form of workRipponlea Kindergarten is a sessional, community run kindergarten offering mixed age group sessions for up to 55 children (22 children per day). We are an exceeding service and have above ratio staffing. On Mondays and Fridays we have an Italian teacher join us for the morning and on Wednesdays and Thursdays we run small group bush kinder sessions at Rippon Lea Estate in the afternoons while another small group remains at the kinder.
We are looking for an experienced Diploma or Certificate III qualified educator to work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays 8.00-4.30 commencing 18 March 2024 on an ongoing, permanent basis. You will also have the opportunity to pick up additional, casual shifts if you wish, where staff are on leave. We offer excellent working conditions in a friendly and supportive setting. You will be working with a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher and another Diploma qualified staff member with a group of 22 children in a mixed age group setting. You will have planning time in accordance with the VECTEA during these days.
We are also accepting applications for casual positions from all ECT, Diploma and Certificate III educators.
It is expected that you are familiar with the VEYLDF, the newly updated EYLF and Child Safe Standards and that you will work in accordance with the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010.
Applicants must hold a Diploma or Certificate III qualification recognised by ACECQA, Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, Protecting Children- Mandatory Reporting Certificate, and a current Working With Children Check.
Pay is in line with the VECTEA award.
