About the service:
Our childcare centre opened last April is located in the heart of Moama, where our Educators provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children. Our play-based learning programs aim to enhance children’s natural curiosity, connect them to culture and foster a sense of identity and belonging. Our exciting outdoor playscape captures the Murray region’s unique and varied natural environment allowing for endless opportunities to play, discover and grow.
About the role:
- actively interacting and supervising the children in your care;
- working closely with the Room Leader and the team to support the implementation of the program and children's learning;
- observing and documenting children's development progress against learning outcomes; and
- developing strong relationships with your team, children and families.
You must show a connection with and willingness to advocate for children and Insight Early Learning's philosophy WISDOM, INNOVATION, SUSTAINABILITY and EQUITY. You will be a great team player, show initiative and confidence, and be ready to PLAY as we operate on a play-based curriculum. You will be responsible for working with the team to implement an approved learning framework and supporting the overall wellbeing, growth, and education of young children.
What you will bring:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a degree in Early Childhood Teaching
- Current and valid Working with Children Check
- Experience working in a similar role
- Previous experience using Xplor (or similar) would be advantageous but not essential
- Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Warm, Empathetic and bubbly personality
- Willingness to work as a team
