Work Days of the Role Monday to Friday
Hours of Work of the Role 8 hours shifts & must be available to work a rotating roster between 6.45am to 6.15pm.
Description The role is to ensure the provision of a high quality innovative educational program that meets the individual needs of the children aged from birth to 6 years and ensure that all interactions with the children are positive, respectful and friendly. This is a Permanent Full-time position, working 8 hours shifts from Monday to Friday at Morrobe Street Children's Centre located in Heidelberg West.
The successful candidate must be available to work a rotating roster between 6.45am to 6.15pm.
- Successful completion of Certificate 3 or equivalent (Mandatory)
- Current, recognised Level 2 First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate, with CPR updates completed within the last 12 months (Mandatory)
- Awareness of cultural needs of families
- Effective communication with families, professionals, and people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds
- Conflict management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Driver's licence
