FROEBEL Fitzroy North is one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider FROEBEL Australia. The centre has places for 69 children from 6 months to 5 years of age located in a leafy area with beautiful outdoor environments. The service has just received an “Exceeding National Quality Standard” rating in all seven Quality Areas. Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language: German) and inquiry-based early learning by implementing the Little Scientists program. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Childhood Educator to join our Kinder Room. The role is full-time (38 hours/week) worked Mondays to Fridays.

The successful candidate will:

• hold an approved Certificate 3 or Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or be working towards such qualification)
• have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to built and grow trusting relationships with colleagues, families and community members
• be a true team player
• have a keen interest in immersive language learning (German language skills are not required) and inquiry-based learning; an interest STEM is a bonus
• have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• last but definitely not least: have a sunny personality with a positive mindset!

Market salary range for this position is $62K-$72K + superannuation.
