Little Lane Early Learning- Manly is a 186-place service educating children from 6 weeks to 6 years, across 14 rooms. Our service is very multicultural, with numerous nationalities represented in the staffing and families who attend our service.

The opportunity
We have a role available for an experienced Assistant Educator to join our passionate and friendly team at our Manly centre on a permanent full-time basis.
The successful applicant/s will need to be able to adapt to change, be flexible, and learn the rooms routine, while developing bonds with the children, families and staff of the service.
We believe in consistency of staff and do require educators that can work 4 or 5 days a week, filling different shifts between 7am to 6.00pm, ideally the successful candidate/s will have hold their Cert III or Diploma, or willing to study, be able to work with any age group and work with many different personalities. This position will be Full time or Permanent Part Time (37.5 to 38 hours a week)
About you:
- Hold a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s services or be willing to Study.
- Previous experience.
- Hold first aid and CPR.
- Hold a current Working with Children's Check.
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Able to follow policies and procedures.
Duties
- Monitor, record and evaluate children’s learning and development
- To provide active supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of each child.
- To provide an age appropriate routine that allows children to settle into the Centre and separate confidently and comfortably from their family.
