Early Childhood Educator - Permanent Part Time
Position Description
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Educator to promote children’s wellbeing, development and learning and help them develop values, attitudes and ways of living and learning that will make them effective members of our community. You will be required to assist with providing a vibrant flexible indoor / outdoor learning environment that is responsive to the interests and abilities of all children. This is a Part Time position of a minimum of 14 hours per week. Expectation for 2024 is you will work Thursday and Friday.
What we are looking for in you:
To be successful in this position, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working towards this qualification
- Current Provide first aid in an education and care setting certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current Class ‘C’ Driver License
- Current Police Check
- Current Working with Children’s Check Number and Clearance
- Current (or willing to obtain) CHCPRT025 – Identify and report children and young people at risk
