Explore & Develop Freshwater is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher / Educator to join our team of qualified and experienced co-educators in our 2-3 year old room.
We hold exceptional ratios within each room across the service daily to ensure the highest quality practices, supporting our educational teams in nurturing meaningful relationships with the children of our service.
Our Saltbush Room caters for the education and care of up to 15 children with 4 qualified Early Childhood Educators.
We are currently engaged in a professional development program alongside Dr Robyn Dolby & Belinda Friezer as we implement ‘PlaySpaces’ throughout our service.

As an Early Childhood Teacher / Educator, you will contribute to the delivery of an innovative, high-quality and inclusive Early Childhood curriculum that is reflective of current pedagogical theory, practice and the Explore & Develop Freshwater values to ensure positive outcomes and opportunities for the children of our service.
You will co-educate alongside a team of experienced and qualified Educators / Teachers and have the ability to work consistently in partnership with others to support children in their early years.
You will be supported by a highly experienced Leadership Team and have the opportunity to join a stable team of experienced & passionate Early Childhood professionals - In 6 years of operating, we have never employed agency casuals!
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Early Childhood Teacher or Early Childhood Educator (ACECQA approved)
- Current, cleared Working with Children Check (NSW)
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards & Early Years Learning Framework
- Experience working alongside children in their early years
- Experience in implementing and supporting the practice of other co-educators
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Current First Aid Qualification
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis Qualification
- Be a team player with great relationship-building skills
