About the role
The Academic Course Coordinator is an integral part of our Higher Education academic team (Early Childhood Education), which delivers programs such as Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
The primary responsibilities of this role is delivering higher education courses to our students ensuring a great learning experience and managing a team of academics within the school.
Additionally, this role will be involved in other deliverables including academic management, course development, and industry engagement.

About you
You bring extensive experience in academic management and teaching within higher education, particularly in Early Childhood Education. Your strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills, combined with a passion for education, make you ideal for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage course operations and delivery
- Ensure quality and consistency in teaching materials
- Conduct teaching, assessment, and student consultations
- Support academic staff and coordinate teaching schedules
- Monitor student performance and support at-risk students
- Engage with industry and professional bodies
- Participate in course development and accreditation
- Lead and develop the academic team

Education, Experience, and Skills
- PhD or AQF Level 9 qualification in a related field
- Extensive experience in course coordination and academic management
- Proven track record in teaching and learning development
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge of contemporary developments in Early Childhood Education
- Experience managing and leading academic teams
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (Higher Education Standards)
