We are looking to build upon our existing team of dedicated Diploma and Certificate 111 Educators. There is possible availability for Fulltime, Part time & Casual positions.
Our Educators must put safety and care first with everything they do and ensure learning experiences are inclusive and responsive to the needs of all children.
Our Qualified Diploma, Cert III Childhood Educators and working towards must-
- Have a Diploma, or Cert III (or working towards) of Children's Services.
- Previous experience working in an Early Childhood Service.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and National Quality Framework.
- Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hold a current CPR qualification including asthma and anaphylaxis.
- Show a genuine interest in the Reggio Emilia approach.
- Have a current NSW Working with Children's Check.
- Have completed a CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk (or be willing to complete).
- Have a HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Complete documentation and daily records.
- Develop an educational program catering to the needs of the children.
- Build respectful and meaningful relationships with children, educators, and families.
- An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment.
- Strong knowledge of programming. An understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, NQS & NQF.
- Experience developing and implementing programs
- Previous experience working in an Early Learning Centre
You will work alongside others to provide a learning environment that is safe, welcoming, and challenging for all children and their families.
