The Opportunity
Waverley Kidz Childcare in Glen Waverleyhas exciting opportunities for passionate and dedicated Educators to join our incredible team on a Casual basis!
As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.
- Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
- Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
- Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
- Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
- Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to Early Childhood education.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.
You
Essential:
- Working towards or hold a minimum of a Certificate III in ECEC (of ACECQA approved equivalent);
- Valid WWCC
- Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain);
- Working knowledge of NQF, EYLF & Child Safe Standards
- Passion for the Early Childhood sector.
- You will enjoy communicating with, and building trusted relationships with children, their families and the wider community.
