Temporary Part Time until 20 December 2024 - (23.76 Hours per week)

The Role
As an Early Childhood Mentor you will support and mentor Early Childhood educators to implement informed practices of the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM).
This will include:
- Enhancing and developing the BSEM strategies to ensure they are maintained and reflective of the specific service needs across Latrobe City Preschools
- Provide tailored advice to the specific needs and requirements of the Preschools
- Build our educators professional capacity and confidence in implementing the BSEM model in their daily practice.
About You
You will have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ability to provide coaching and mentoring support for our educators.
You'll also need:
- A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education is essential.
- Current Driver's License.
- Current Working with Children Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- An understanding of the Berry Street Education Model (desirable)
- Experience in adapting educational content for children aged 0-6 years (desirable)
Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
