We are seeking a dynamic Diploma qualified educator to join our team at the Early Years Place. The Early Years Place (EYP) is an integrated universal service accessible for children (birth – 8 years), their families and expecting parents residing in Caboolture and surrounding areas (geographic catchment of the EYP). To maximise access and engagement, the EYP offers a range of service delivery models including onsite programs, targeted home visiting and outreach at Satellite sites and community locations across the region.

About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Early Childhood Programs Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team working on a part time basis of 32 hours per week (4 days).
Our Early Childhood Program Educators enjoy a varied role that can include working in partnership with our Family Support Workers and Child Health staff to deliver holistic and integrated facilitated playgroups and parent education programs.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who are passionate about working with children and families, believe strongly in early intervention and have the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will hold:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working towards these
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
- Hold a current Blue Card and hold current first aid/CPR including asthma and anaphylaxis
- Experience in developing engaging educational programs to support the learning and development of children
- Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with Children, Families and Colleagues
