Responsibilities: Early Childhood Teacher
As a qualified Early Childhood Teacher holding a Bachelor of Early Childhood or Equivalent (qualification is mandatory), the candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the learning experiences of children. Responsibilities include:
Creating Engaging Environments:
- Developing high-standard learning environments that encourage exploration and documenting children's learning and development.
Building and Maintaining Relationships:
- Fostering positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
Developing Learning Programs:
- Creating learning programs based on an understanding of each child, their ideas, and developmental goals, utilizing the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
Guidance and Implementation:
- Implementing guidelines under the National Quality Framework (NQF) and mentoring less experienced educators and students.
️ Effective Communication:
- Confidently communicating with families and contributing to a safe, caring, and inviting community for everyone to learn, love, and be accepted.
Skills and Experience:
✔️ Bachelor of Early Childhood (ACECQA approved)
✔️ Valid Blue Card
✔️ Current First Aid Qualifications (Early Childhood specific)
✔️ Previous Experience in Early Education and Care
✔️ Demonstrated Ability to Document Children's Learning (Experience with Storypark is a bonus)
✔️ Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
✔️ Positive, Caring Attitude with a Focus on Teamwork
✔️ Highly Organized with a Professional Presentation
