About you:
- ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification and current South Australian Teachers Registration
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for South Australia
- First Aid ACECQA approved qualification – HTLAID012 (or willing to obtain)
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (or willing to obtain)
About the role:
We are seeking an ECT who is passionate about children’s development and has a collaborative leadership style which amplifies the strengths of the other educators in the room. You will have outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to facilitate a child-centred, contemporary learning environment which is age-appropriate for three to five-year-olds. Working primarily in the Kindy room as a secondary ECT, you will:
- Support child development and build strong relationships with both children and families to meet every child’s individual needs.
- Work as part of a collaborative team with other experienced and likeminded educators.
- Assist in the creation of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Contribute to the planning, assessment, and evaluation cycle within your dedicated learning environment.
- Participate in the creation, development and evaluation of individual learning plans in collaboration with other ECTs.
- Be strongly influenced by the Reggio Emilia Approach and other modern pedagogies.
