The Centre and Position
This lovely 70 place, family-owned business located in Dural is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join their welcoming and established team of educators. The service is split into a Nursery, Toddler and 2 Preschooler rooms and has purpose-built indoor spaces designed to enable children to have a quality learning experience, including a library, art space and dining room. Further to this, the centre is located very close to nature and has large outdoor spaces to allow children to also have incredible outdoor learning and play experiences surrounded by the natural and gorgeous Australian bushland.
The service can be flexible with the age group that you as an Educator would like to work in and also has the availability for you to work part-time (4 days a week) or full-time (5 days a week).
The centre is located nearby to the local shops, cafes and restaurants and is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am - 6:30pm.
Responsibilities in the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Assisting and working alongside the Room Leader to implement programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the children
Communicating positively with the children and families
Preparing, implementing and evaluating a developmentally appropriate program for individual children and groups
Being reliable, respectful and working constructively with your colleagues and other professionals
Ensuring a trusting relationship is developed with families through regular, honest and open communication regarding the care of their child
Having a sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework

About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
A Bachelors in Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
A valid Teacher Accreditation
A current Working with Children's Check
Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
Have a sound understanding of the EYLF and NQS
