Early Childhood Teacher - Gerringong

The Falcam family are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher or applicants diligently working towards or who have obtained their ACECQA approved Early Childhood Degree to join the dedicated team of Educators at Little Cherubs Gerringong, Gerringong NSW. Little Cherubs Gerringong is approx. 22 minute drive from Lake Illawarra. 

The Position

• This position is a full time position for an ECT qualified Room Leader, 38 hours per week,working Monday to Friday, on a rotating roster in the Preschool room and has scope for the successful applicant to take on additional responsibilities at centre level. These responsibilities would be negotiated commensurate with individual qualifications, experience and career aspirations, balanced with centre needs. 
• This dedicated team member collaborates with educators to enhance overall staff satisfaction, working conditions, and childcare quality.

The Centre

• Our centre at Little Cherubs Gerringong (Gerringong) is newly renovated. Previously only one room, the centre now has 2 rooms: one that focuses on the delivery of dedicated baby and toddler education and the other our thriving preschool room. This centre also boasts an abundance of new resources, is totally refurbished and has a newly installed full outdoor play environment for our most adventurous and imaginative children.

The Criteria:

• A current ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification - please note to work as an ECT under the NQF, you need to hold an approved Early Childhood teaching qualification.
• A current NSW Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate - Child Care Approved (HLTAID012 or 004)
• Current CPR
• Food Safety Certificate 
• A genuine passion for working with Children
• A sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
• Two recent work-based references
