- Temporary part time role 28.5 hrs per week sessions days: Mons & Thurs plus planning day TBC (12 month parental leave contract)

To continue to deliver for our community, we are seeking an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to lead our Teaching team at Inverleigh Early Learning Centre throughout 2024!
This role will provide you the opportunity to:
- Ensure a developmentally appropriate curriculum that incorporates outdoor learning experiences
- Create a warm and welcoming learning environment that reflects our rural community
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and community members
- Assessing and documenting children's progress
- Collaborating with and leading both the teaching team and the Volunteer Parent Committee to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated leadership experience delivering Early Childhood educational programs, including co-ordination of multiple programs and supervision of staff.
- A comprehensive knowledge of the current Education and Care Services National Regulations and the Education and Care Services National Law Act.
- Ability to provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment for the children where each child’s health is promoted and protected.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary practice relating to inclusion of vulnerable children, children who are Aboriginal are from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds or have a disability.
- Well-developed leadership skills with the ability to plan and organise one’s own work and that of other staff so as to achieve specific objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively and gain the co-operation and assistance of others.
