Early Childhood Teacher Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 3-5 years old, or 4-5 years.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote learning and development across all areas, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track children's progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide feedback and guidance to support the professional growth of assistant educators.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications required:
- ACECQA approved Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of Early Childhood development principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
