Observing Systems and Operations (OSO) is responsible for the operation, sustainment and life-cycle management of a wide variety of assets and infrastructure providing valuable observations right across Australia and it's surrounding Territories. With a national workforce in excess of 200 technical staff travelling to remote areas via 4WD, plane, boat and helicopter.
The OSO Regulatory Compliance Lead role is responsible for the creation, management and oversight of an inspection program that assesses compliance with the relevant legislation, codes of practice and standards, and identifies areas for improvement. In addition, you will contribute to identifying solutions and assist with rolling out OSO wide activities to improve safety and compliance.
