Early Childhood Teacher - Northern Regional Victoria - 40min from Melbourne.
8 weeks leave, $1000 sign-on bonus, and hourly rate between $42-$45.
We are seeking a motivated, talented, passionate, and energetic Early Childhood Teacher to help oversee the provision of Early Childhood care and education for children within a 4-year-old Kindergarten group.
This is a permanent full-time position, 5 days a week.
About the role
We are seeking an ECT to join this amazing team and company.
Salary ranges from $42 to $45 per hour with 8 weeks' leave.
- Working with other staff in the room to plan a program that is guided by observation of the children.
- Ensure child safety and welfare at all times.
- Actively supervising and interacting with children, whilst mentoring and coaching staff.
- Ensure that children are educated and cared for to the highest standard.
- Ensure every child is able to engage with educators in meaningful, open interactions that support the acquisition of skills for life and learning.
- Interact with each child in a warm and responsive way and build trusting relationships.
- Facilitate a nurturing and loving environment for the children, staff, and families.
- Provide childcare services that comply with the national regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF), and support the Early Years Learning Framework
- Provide ongoing input for all documentation associated with Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) requirements.
- Ensure delivery and maintenance of routines and programs specific to the room.
- Document the children’s learning through a user-friendly IT app.
- Create and set up interesting learning environments for the children to learn and be entertained.

- Skills and experience
- ECT - Early Childhood Teacher - Bachelor trained.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Experience in programming for children's learning.
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- Enthusiastic, reliable, motivated, and professional
- Commitment to professional development (training programs, workshops, and networking provided)
- Current VIT Registration
- Current First Aid Certificate
