The Strategic Asset Planner provides high level advice in relation to the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the integrated Asset Management system for the Department.The role makes a significant contribution to the development of asset management strategies that align with the Department’s Asset Management Framework and the International Asset Management ISO Standards, and which contribute to the achievement of Departmental and Government objectives and priorities.About You
We are seeking a proactive and strategic professional to develop and implement innovative asset management solutions that align with our departmental priorities.The successful candidate will need to collaborate with stakeholders to create value maximising asset management strategies, while driving and evaluating service performance improvements across key functions with both professional and technical teams.You will need to regularly assess and enhance asset management practices and procedures for greater efficiency and prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations on asset management strategies to stakeholders.If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity and contribute to the success our department, then we invite you to apply for this position.Requirements
Appointment to this role may be to the ASO7 or PO4 classification level dependent on qualifications and experience. Candidates seeking a role at either classification are encouraged to apply.For appointment to the role at the PO4 classification level, a degree level qualification in Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline or a recognised degree or recognised post graduate qualification in the discipline of Transport Planning is required.Special Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check (NPC) prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.Remuneration
ASO7 - $106,512 to $115,137 per annum
