Full-time, permanent position
MLC Early Learning Centre provides dedicated co-educational care for children aged 18 months to 4 years in a long day care environment. Our Centre is a warm and inviting space, and children have access to all of the College's outstanding facilities and beautiful grounds.
We seek an enthusiastic, collaborative, full-time Early Learning Teacher to join our team. This position is supported by three Educators and will lead the 3-4yo Pre-Kindergarten room (max 20 students) implementing curriculum which encourages learning through play and the achievement of individual developmental milestones. This position works a rotating roster of 38hrs per week between 6.30am and 6.30pm.
To be successful you will demonstrate:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and be eligible for registration
- Demonstrated experience in an Early Childhood setting
- Enthusiasm for young children, early learning and education
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Flexibility to work across all early learning age groups as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- First Aid qualification (HLTAID004) or ability to obtain
