Bright Horizons Australia Childcare Wodonga is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher with a commitment to providing excellence in care to join our team in our Kindergarten room.
The successful applicant will possess a passion for high quality care and education, an ACECQA approved childcare qualification, and will preferably be available Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Nurturing, caring for and educating children
- Assisting in planning and implementing a play-based, emergent curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Delivering consistent high quality care and presentation to all work practices
- Developing and implementing 3 year old and 4 year old funded Kindergarten curriculum with the support of other ECTs and qualified educators
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with team members, parents, children and the wider community
Qualities essential for the position are:
- ACECQA approved Childcare Qualifications - Bachelor or working towards completion of relevant studies
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Child protection training
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Understanding of the NQS and National Quality Framework
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards, and requirements
- A passion and enthusiasm for learning and a desire to create warm and inviting learning spaces for children
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- An ability to demonstrate strong skills in observing, programming & planning, to meet children's individual needs.
- Meet current requirements to be approved as a Responsible Person on Duty
