Pro Kidz is a privately owned Long day care and Funded Kindergarten service located in Benalla, VIC. It strives to uplift and support the fundamental years of Early Childhood education.
About the role
We seek an energetic, Early childhood-trained Teacher and 2IC to join our team and support quality care and Education.
You can be involved in every service aspect, from documenting children's learning journeys to collaborating with the team on innovative projects.
For the right candidate, a pre-approved government incentive program has been allocated to our service to support the allocation of a beneficial member of our team to teach the 3-year-old kinder program.

Location incentives are also available.
Duties include:
- Responsible for the guidance/support/direction and general supervision of staff, students and volunteers working within the Childcare service.
- To develop the Children’s Program (reflecting Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework guidelines), completing the children's learning cycle through observations, monthly programs, cooperation with staff, and support for all children's needs.
- In compliance with the OH&S Policy, ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children, with particular attention to children with anaphylaxis, allergies, asthma etc.
- To ensure that accurate records are kept regarding accidents, incidents, injuries, illnesses, and medication. The appropriate books/records must be checked regularly to ensure ongoing compliance.
- To ensure staff know current thinking and practice in Early Childhood education and service delivery.
- To liaise with families in regard to the day-to-day happenings.
- To co-operate and communicate effectively with parents about their child-care needs.
- To promote good parent / Centre relationships.
- To promote and maintain positive working relationships with other staff.
- To actively support and cooperate with other staff in their child-care duties.
- Help
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor of Early Years Education or ACECQA Approved Equivalent
- Registered VIT
- Current First Aid or willing to obtain
- CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Working with children check
- Previous experience working in an Early Childhood service and demonstrating the ability to complete documentation and daily records with excellent written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and National Framework
