About The Centres
Thrive, St Marys is located in Western Sydney and is 58 place centre and caters to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years,
Thrive, St Marys is on a quiet street and offers free on-site parking for staff.
Thrive Mount Druitt is our brand-new purpose-built 75 place centre.
The leadership team values the importance of a healthy work/life balance which is shown through their effective teamwork in sharing responsibilities.
Both teams have on going support from their Centre Leader, Assistant Centre Leader, and Educational Leader who provide adequate programming time and encourage all educators to contribute.
About The Roles
We have exciting opportunities in both centres for an Early Childhood teacher to join their teams.
We are looking for someone with experience in programming using the planning cycle and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families, and colleagues.
St Marys are looking an ECT to be their Educational Leader. You will spend time floating between each room and allocated 8 hours per week to complete any training and mentoring required.
Mount Druitt is looking for a Preschool Room Leader to lead the team of educators in the day to day running of the room.
You will be joining a dedicated and supportive team where your ideas, input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged!
Your main responsibilities will be to;
- Support educators to assess each child’s learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories and the Thrive curriculum.
- Support educators to critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice,
- Reflect on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members.
- Maintain effective communication with parents.
- Uphold strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best.

To be considered, you will have;
- An Early Childhood Teaching degree (or actively working towards)
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- A current NSW Employee Working With Children's Check
- Sound and practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS)
