A fulltime Early Childhood Teacher position has become available in Brindabella Early Learning Centre. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of a reputable Early Learning Centre in Canberra ACT.

As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will be delivering a quality educational program for the room.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Develop quality educational program for the room according to the EYLF Guidelines
Conduct observations for our amazing children and develop a learning program according to the planning cycle within the EYLF guidelines.
Build positive relationships through respectful and meaningful interactions with children, staff, and families.
Communicate and update families regarding their child’s learning progress and wellbeing.
Provide adequate supervision for children in various learning experiences.
Setup learning spaces or experiences for indoor and outdoor environment.
Act as a role model for staff and children, demonstrating a positive behaviour and language.
Work together with other ECTs / Room Leaders in implementing quality educational experiences for the children within the service.
The successful candidate must:
Hold a Bachelor Degree of Early Childhood.
Hold a current First Aid and CPR Qualifications (Early Childhood specific)
Previous leadership experience in an Early Education and Care service.
Hold the WWVP card.
Have a sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF guidelines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Positive, caring attitude and willing to improve.

This is a fulltime position only, working Monday to Friday. Training will be provided; however, the candidate must be able to quickly grasp the services we offer and the systems we use.
