About the role
This role is a permanent position in Toddler Studio. You will be the Lead Educator in this studio and have the autonomy to make decisions and stamp your own personal mark in the environment.
You will also:
• Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and the services policies and procedures
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
• Actively contribute to the development of the services Quality Improvement Plan
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families, team members.
• Contribute to a professional and positive work culture.
Centre opening hours are open 6:30am-6:30pm.
Skills and experience
- Min qualifications of a Diploma or working towards
- Experience in a teachers position, preferably in an early childhood setting
- Solid understanding of the NQS, NQF, and the kindergarten guidelines
- A working knowledge of developmental programming, planning and observations
- Experience with Storypark or similar online tool would be looked upon favourably.
- Experience maintaining warm and caring relationships with children and their families
- A genuine love and interest in educating, caring for and nurturing young children
